The Bridge, Penrith; 'Substance'

Find out about two projects working specifically with young people.

At Penrith the congregation has bought an old hotel and with young people created a youth centre called 'The Bridge'. With the combination of a comfortable environment and new media, young people are given opportunities to be part of church by initiating small projects using resources in the centre.

At 'Substance' we see young people trying out Djing, break dancing and much more. It's vital that churches find ways to make the space and environment appropriate for all ages and connect with contemporary culture if young people are to hear the gospel message.
