Stained Glass
An interview with Rev Michaela Youngson highlights some principles for commissioning stained glass windows:
Seek out the right artist for your desired style of design.
Be aware of the space in which the window is situated.
Remember that an artist's initial design will be done for a fee.
The window may be in place for very many years - use the experience and knowledge of an architect.
Michaela's book, 'Making The Colours Sing', refers to stained glass as an expression of God's love. She comments on the transforming of glass by sunshine, bringing the image to life.
